Recyclables collected will alternate each week
between the BLUE lidded bin (paper)
and the YELLOW lidded bin (containers).
Collection
takes place on the same day as your garbage removal, and Council
has developed a Calendar
to show Recycling Bin Collection Weeks. For
units, bins are serviced once a week.
Please DO NOT place plastic bags in the recycling bins as this makes
the materials unusable.
Recyclable items placed outside the bin will not be collected. Excess recyclable materials can be recycled free of charge at SITA's Transfer Stations in Lanceley Place, Artarmon or Wicks Road, Ryde.
Please
see below for a list of all materials that can be recycled.
For additional recycling services for houses, download an additional Waste Collection Service Form. This service is available to houses only.
Find out your recycling collection day by visiting Council's Waste Collection Calendar.
